The others include the Flagstar Strand Theater for the Performing Arts and Pontiac’s Little Art Theatre, expected to open late spring. The escape room complex, located a few blocks from Erebus Haunted Attraction, is the newest entertainment venue trying to make a home in downtown Pontiac. Escape rooms work by ‘locking’ a group of people in a room, where they’ll have a given amount of time to work together to solve puzzles, figure out clues and ultimately make their ‘escape.’ The brothers behind one of Michigan’s most popular haunted attractions have opened Erebus Escape in downtown Pontiac.Įdward and James Terebus, also co-owners of Erebus Haunted Attraction, have spent 37 years in the themed entertainment business and are looking to a new kind of interactive, group-oriented game which has become popular in recent years.
